Best Arrow Set

Thanks guys second pictures from the top 1/2 inch warbow arrows with horn and self nocks, others are 7/16 diameter tapered 11/32 and barrelled to 3/8 these are alluminum nocks.

Here is a set of tonkin arrows.. They are fleched with 2 goose and 1 wild turkey cock feather. I wraped them with black nylon and they where stained with leather dye..The stone points are some I got in a trade with Mullet.

Jackcrafty I think some of those feathers still got your fingerprints on them..
I tell you if I could find some one to trade for some naturel finish I could biuld a complete set of primitive arrows from Bartered goods!

David, make your own natural finish...dissolve hard pine pitch in denatured alcohol, strain it off and you have a natural finish. I use it to seal sinew wraps and to seal arrow shafts.

psI wonder if denatured alcohol makes it less natural?

Pat I do believe denatured alcohol is just corn whiskey with an additive to make it undrinkable, so I think
if ya just use some mountain dew it would be primitive

Ian your bow would have to eat its wheaties to shoot these arrows.. they are spined at 65/70..
mountain dew for arrows..Hmmm they would wobble and fall short every time..lol..
