Lumpy bumpy maple recurve character bow(full draw added)
« on: August 29, 2008, 06:39:51 pm »
Check this bow out ! Its about the coolest piece of character wood I've ever seen. The pictures really don't do the bow Justice. Its made of hard maple 64" ntn and pulls a modest 44#@28" Weaker than I wanted but I was happy to get a shooter out this piece of wood! The lumps in the handle act as a reverse style riser with built in finger grooves.  Hope you enjoy!

Not yet Pat. Soon. I think I'm going to give this bow to my buddys Girl friend from our archery club. She's been shooting a little elm bow I gave her a couple years ago, but she's ready for a bow with more mmmph...I will try to get a picture of her for the full draw since she's much nicer on the eye's than I am.  ;D

Very cool looking bow sometimes  you find something that was just meant to be a bow.R.C.
