My First Bow

This is my first bow. This is a self bow made out of hickory. It is 70" NTN, 64 lbs at 28".

Thanks for the compliments, It shoots real well. It hits the target so much harder than my compound bow, and its a pound lighter. I guess I'm hooked!
I call the tips "pool cue tips" LOL.

Unusually good outcome of a first bow. You must be a good wood craftsman generally. Stitching on the leather is enviable to me.

Congratulations on a job well done. When I started out I tested my own creations against a Bear Kodiak and yes It's now a wall hanger in my workshop.
