Beautiful bow, Ron. Maybe there is something to letting it sit for a year. Seems to hold reflex better. ;D

I did get to shoot one of the early arrows through it and it shoots great for the weight. Ought to make a good bow for whatever you want to do with it! ;)

Nice bow, Ron.  It was nice meeting you and your son at the Classic this year.  Great looking bow.  I miss the old "bow shed."  We have such good times there whittling out our bows.

great bow friend! yeah ive uped my bow making to 1 bow per season. im almost finished with summers bow, and ive got falls bow all marked out and ready to rough out. my second boy is comming in a couple of days so im going to be busy with the new babe for a bit...

Thanks all for the looks and kind words Long story but will make it short With Pappys help I made several bows a few years ago and was learning
fast Was delt a bad card and had to go through cancer treatment with my wife and my priorities changed started getting back in to it a while back and now
my shoulders are giving me fits so I am trying lighter weight maybe that will help I do enjoy making and shooting bows but it is hard to get into it
if you cant shoot at all Just hope this lighter quicker bow will do the trick By the way wife has one more year of watching and then will be declared cancer free

  Great looking bow Ron, sure looks like a fast stick spitter. Now smile and look like you are happy ;) Have to agree with Pappy and Ryan about good cured bow wood. Those Friendship bows ought to be rocket launchers when they get finished.  ::)

Eddie I did all the smiling every time I took a measurement of the reflex after working it and listening to Pappy
wish he had not let me have the stave One thing Pappy did not mention when we were looking at the rings of this piece
of wood we noticed it had only two rings maybe that has something to do with it holding the way it did

I'm smiling to Ron, ;) I don't think the thick growth rings had anything to do with it from what I have seen it is usually worse.By the way I looked at it again yesterday and it is back up to 3 1/2.
Also got you another string. :) See ya Friday. :)
