Hey anyone coming that has a mulberry stave or two that you could part with? I've been wanting to try it, I have locust and black walnut staves to trade and some wild turkey secondaries, I'll see what else I can find too.

Well ended up with 2 tanks... and get this I scored a 60" road killed corn snake on the way back from picking them up.
After smashing up the bowls I have a 5 gal pail full of decent pieces to knapp (and a 1/2 doz bleeding wounds). Wife asked if I had fun after I came in to soak up the blood. Man this stuff is sharp. Will bring up the 2 tanks and lids to play with.

Snake skin is drying as well. :)

Alan, I might have a godd mulberry stave left, pretty sure I've at least got some good billets. I'll look through my little shed of horrors and see what I've got.  :)

Wade, cool score on the corn snake, they sure have a nice pattern. Never saw one up here in the mountains.

Alan,I have one that Hillbilly sent me a year or so ago and a shorty that Jamie sent me. You can have your pick. I'd like to try a good locust stave for an Eastern Woodland style.     Pat.

Sounds good guys! I'll bring some locust and walnut, maybe some hickory too. I have two sets of osage billets and one set of locust that I'm bringing to see if I can get some advice on splicing. I've never done that before and my osage supply is about gone so these billets are too valueable to me not to use. I'm planning on doing some logging when I'm in Kansas this fall.  ;D

I've got some cane and some different hardwood shoots. There is hill cane growing along the creek that has some good arrow material amongst it.
