Patty's Camp-O-Rama and primitive skills weekend

question for y'all. started packing this am and trying to figure out what to take along.
specifically osage and other staves... they are much to heavy just to haul up to pat's then back home. however if someone is interested in doing some stave trading I'll haul them up.

I have one walnut, one Elm, One Hickory, and quite a few osage 1/2 logs or 1/4s that I might be interested in trading. a couple of the 1/2 logs I think if you have a band saw you could get 2 bows out of them. also have a couple that will be a real challange.... either really snaky or knotty or holey.

anyone interested? dont want to haul them up and back if no one is. Was just planning on bringing 3 one of which I was going to work on.

Hey Wade, I might be interested in that elm if no one else has spoke for it. I don't know what I have to trade for it. I have a couple of osage staves also or some leather that would be good for putting on bow handles etc.
Pat, I'm bringing some venison with me. I got to looking through the freezer and I had more meat than I thought. I 'll bring a couple of small roasts and some tenderloin.

Knightd,  I've never tried a multi-layered handle before.  It could be interesting.  Let's see what we can do.
