Great little bow Shannon. 55" would be quite short for me, I guess I gotta try one now.  This bow WILL get meat this fall!!!     Pat

The tips got my attention on this one.  Nice job! Not to mention the tiller! Excellent work and bookmarked for June Self BOM.
I'd have named this fine weapon "ZOOM" >:D

SWEET!!! Shannon, you da man, don't see how you could improve on that. If you don't watch it, you're gonna fool around and learn to make bows one of these days.  ;D ;D

That's a fine looking bow Shannon...great job. I like the skins, have one myself from a roadkill and keeping my eyes open for a second one. Tips look really good as well! Like always, your bows define the statement..."attention to detail". :)

That bow is perfect in all respects. I can see why you are fond of it. That one is going in my scrap book.

Man, that looks gorgeous to me.  I'm hugely impressed that you can get that weight out of such a short & narrow bow, without any significant set.  Great unbraced profile & tiller!

Thanks very much guys!
Hillbilly, you crack me up, but I don't know if I'd ever call myself a "bowyer"
And Gordon, there's no such thing as perfect. But i'm flattered all the same.
Just so everyone will know, I don't like this bow so much because I think it's any better than any other bow here on PA.  It's more because I consider it a gift from a friend.  I liked that piece of wood from the moment I layed eyes on it and was silently saying to myself "boy, I hope he gives me that!"  It was just begging to be a bow!
Stickhead, osage is some amazing stuff.  The main thing with any wood is making sure it's dry.  I like to get it down to 7.5-8% MC and never over 9%.    Thanks again,  Saw Filer

Great looking bow.  It is nice to see a change in the tips.
