Finished One Up For The Gabester
« on: December 30, 2024, 10:05:44 am »
My son Gabe wanted a cool bow with some snakeskins since his old selfbow and recurve are getting a little light for his giant muscles.  ;)

Osage selfbow backed with a split copperhead skins, water buffalo tip overlays and leather grip with copperhead strike plate. Slight filed-in shelf with a shaped piece of Osage for the rest.

51" ntn, 20#@20" (tillered to 22", he draws around 17-18")

Got a few pics for now, plan on a little shooting and better pics later today.

Sweet little bow!  I’m sure he will love it.
Sticks and stones and other poky stabby things.

A few more pics, he didn't shoot it yet so I'll get those ASAP.
