Please see the letter that Monroe sent out to subscribers. This has been a very sad and difficult decision for us. We are having an amazing sale at shop.primitivearcher.com to liquidate what inventory we have. As of right now we have some pretty great prices on everything, including hat which we have a limited amount left.
The Primitive Archer Magazine values this forum and all who have supported us. We know we have some other decisions ahead of us. We would love to hear from you all regarding the forum. This place is an amazing treasure and wealth of information. It has also been the catalysts for many friendships, knowledge trading and fulfilling our mission of passing along the traditions. If you choose to email please copy us both

My main request is kind words only as this is difficult for us as well.
Thank you,
Marie
We are writing with a heavy heart to inform you that Primitive Archer Magazine will be closing down, effective immediately. This difficult decision comes after challenges that have made it impossible for us to continue operations. The challenges we had during the covid shut down and post covid costs have driven this decision. We went to all digital in hopes to keep the traditions going and passing the knowledge on to others and also to keep this forum up and running.
Over the years, Primitive Archer has been more than just a magazine—it has been a community. The friendships we've built with our readers, like you, have been a treasured part of every issue. Your passion for primitive archery, arts, and skills has been the lifeblood of our publication, inspiring us with each story and piece of knowledge shared.
As we close this chapter, we want you to know how much we have valued your support, your contributions, and the community we’ve built together. You were not just readers; you were part of every arrow drawn, every skill honed, and every story told. We leave behind thousands of private research libraries and collections around the world made up of Primitive Archer Magazines that will help keep our mission alive.
We want to thank you for being an integral part of our journey. We will always cherish the memories and the friendships we’ve made along the way.
Kindest regards,
Monroe Luther
