Propeller stave going straight.

Had this nice stave but had propeller In it . Let’s see how much I can get out.

That got a good bit out of the handle section.its hard to see in pic but it changed the handle section about a strong 1/16 of an inch in a 1-1/2” thick handle.

Now do we want reflex or deflex  in the handle ? I like reflex it puts more stress at fade to mid limb that’s why I make them wider at that point.

What’s the deal?  barely touch the screen in the wrong place and some advertisements pop up!! Shim is glued  in with titebond 3.

I'm getting lots of adds too, but honestly, it's a small inconvenience for the privilege of using this site. I certainly look here more than at the magazine so... I reckon they got to make money.

Thats a unique way to remove twist bud. I bet it places a lot of stress in that one spot. Have you done that many times before?

You know, if this works out well for you, I'm going to have to re evaluate how I do things. By the way, how deep was the cut you made and how thick is that handle?

Kevin it was about 2”thick . I reduced it so I can glue a piece on the belly.

I like how archery brings people to a commonality. We are thousands of miles apart, but both doing exactly the same thing with the same goal.

I like how you locked that shim in place, and dang those glue lines are on point my friend! What's your end stats looking g like for this one?

First heat session complete and handle piece glued on with EA40. Now wait till tomorrow to pull it off and see what we have.
