Last ones, no ht on the belly, the humidity is always so low here it doesn't need it. Riser is osage on the back of the splice, then Osage and curly maple handle with Osage tip overlays. I was out of g-flex so I used jb weld marine epoxy from the big box store it worked great

Sweet, I'm not a great fan of decoration on bows, but I like the poker work on this one :)

Nice work Bubby. I like the work with the red hot poker too.

Glad to hear your humidity is low. Was a little worried you might have gotten washed away in the rains. I can’t remember the fancy name they had for it. Glad to see you’re still out there making cool stuff

Thanks guys, bj la Nina dumped a ton of precipitation especially since it had hardly rained in 6 years lol but the humidity levels here in most of the year are under 15%

That is catchy.

At any rate really glad to see you are still out there making cool stuff.

What a great looking bow.  I love everything about it.  I wish we had your humidity levels.  We are really moist up here in great white north.  I will have to try that jb weld idea seems to be strong enough.

Not bad.......for a "board" :)

I have a pile of that brown leather like you used on your grip. I salvaged it off an old couch along the road in a junk pile.
