Pine hunting bow what???

Many years ago I made a bow from Australian pine. It was a decent bow. A. pine  is not our white pine as it is much denser.  Nice tiller on that bow. Jawge

Well I was satisfied with the tiller so I worked it out to 23” draw on the tiller tree.  It feels 50-55lb.  After I reached 23” measured from the belly I gave it 50 pulls back to back to 23”.  It didn’t explode so I drew it in hand to 23 and it feels nice.  Hunt worthy.  I’ll shoot it in some. 

After the 50 pulls on the tree and a few in hand it has 1.5” of set on the top limb and 3/4” of set on the bottom limb.  This is right after unbracing.  Now for some finish sanding, stain, and seal it up. 

Here it is at my hobbits full draw of 23” measured from the belly.
