California Burns AGAIN
« on: July 22, 2021, 04:56:43 pm »
For all that might be interested. Check out the Western wildfire scene on Inciweb.
My dad is not too far north from the Dixie Fire. It is spotting a lot. Chased a dozer team off of a line they were building.
I have lots of family and friends in the evacuation zones. My dads area may be added by the time this is all said and done.
If you are of a praying sort, your prayers for firefighters, support staff, aircraft, communities will be and are appreciated.

Prayers for everyone concerned Ben. We got a rain and the wind switched. Until then the sun was in a smoky haze.

At one time they raked and ground the dead wood to make fuel pellets for powerplants, better to burn the dried out dead wood to generate power than to watch it burn on its own taking half the state with it.
