I Slew the Wheelie Monster (sort of)
« on: June 03, 2021, 02:44:01 pm »
Somehow the machine of modern archery marketing found me. Luckily, I had a new hunting rig to test.    >:D

266 sheets of high tech gadgets are no match for a trusty sinew/hickory and trade-point.  To be honest, most of my field tips are from that place, maybe I'll test their pentation to.

Ha! That's great!

I wasn't sure what the catalog was, so I googled 'Lancaster Archery' and was transported to their website where I found this contraption. Asking price? $219! I seriously don't know what it is.

I missed watching their barebow tournament shoot, though.  Next year...

Opps, I didn't mean to give them any publicity.:-\  They are a major supplier of modern archery gear.

That's a mechanized release, this is my 50 cent version.

That is a back tension release, looking at the price I am sure glad I got out of that rat race in 89.

A Bateman tab is $15 and you just about can't wear one out.

Modern archery has priced the average Joe out. I think that is why our trad ranks are filling so quickly in the last few years, selfbow shooters are an expanding bunch as well.

A catch pan for the shreds as they fall and off to the composter!
