I had a couple nice seasoned osage billets and decided to make a takedown bow. This is the second takedown I’ve done. The bow is 67” nock to nock and 55# @ 28”. I used Smooth-On MT-13 to mount the brass sleeves. I backed the thin-ringed Osage with rawhide using TB III and western diamondback snakeskins. The metal sleeve is covered with leather from an Amish saddle shop.
Bow is really dead in the hand with no hand shock and it hits where I’m aiming. This bow will probably be my new hunting bow. Thanks for looking.
