New nail notcher
« on: January 05, 2021, 09:30:03 am »
Decided I would pass on my old nail notcher so I carved out a new one for myself. I actually really like it. Took maybe 5 minutes to whittle out the shape and then I stupidly cut my piece off first so to fit the copper ring it took a bit more work than it needed trying to hold em together and scrape em separately.
May my presence go unnoticed, may my shot be true, may the blood trail be short. Amen.

I've seen Bob use a nail to notch with he gets thin deep notches in his points

Do you flatten the nail tip or leave it a point? I really like that idea!
