Turkish heavy hornbow

Turkish hornbow

Horn,walnut, maple, bamboo, ash and sinew,
Bow with leather backing, with fish glue soak and many layers,schelack
Hand paint ornament,with paint based on schelack and natural pigments.
Litlle leather at nock with sinew wrap, leather string bridges.

bow lenght ntn 53 inch
draw weight 88 lbs at 28 inch max 32 inch- 103 lbs
schelack finish
dacron string
BH 17 cm
Bow weight- 544 gram

But if it’s not to much to ask would you mind saying what wood was used for what part of the bow? I’m far from building a horn bow but I am curious.

Very beautiful work.  The bow is amazing enough, but the finish painting always amazes me when it is this good.

True art! The colors, the curves and the bows weight (only544 gram for such a heavy bow) An inspiration for sure, also love the white leather touches, really wraps it together nicely!
