Have you inlayed the echo with epoxy? Have you considered bringing it on the same level as the belly? I think that would look even better...

No inlay, no epoxy. Incise anything in a really high stressed belly like on this one is no good idea I think ...
The lettering is made embossed with thickened lacquer, like braille.

Man Simon that is one of the coolest looking bows I think I have ever seen. And we all know their are plenty of super awesome bows posted on this site. You have my vote this month for BOM and next month,and next month and on and on....
