My sinew backed Juniper bow!

I really enjoyed making this juniper bow backed with elk sinew. It is as smooth as I have ever felt for a wooden bow, both the draw cycle and on the shot. 42#@24” it shoots a beefy 530gr arrow at over 150fps. At my draw length a wooden bow usually needs to be 50# to do that, sinew backed juniper is certainly special in this regard. I don’t imagine this will be my last:)

Thanks guys!  Sage-the brace is 5.5" from inside of grip. 

Also, the OAL is 53".

Great looking bow, and unique as always, Shelton!  I’m curious about the arrows.  What style of fletching is that, and what are the advantages?

Stick- thanks buddy!  The arrows are my attempt at a set of plains indian arrows.  They would cut the fletching long and low and set back.  They sure do shoot flat.  I posted more about them in the arrows section.
