Could this be purple leaf plum?

As the titel says. I cant make out what It is from internet or app. The leafs ain't really purple bit but green/purple blended or inbetween.

If I'm not mistaken, purple leaf plum also has purple tinted wood also. Lots of new leaves come out with colored leaves before the chlorophyll comes out.

Nope not purple leaf. Like pat said, after cutting the wood has a very purple hue to it. Takes awhile but eventually turns a light reddish brown in the heartwood area

Damn people, im hunting staves basicly all day,every  Day, while droging while at work, when going to grocery stores, i stopper collecting yew because i have enough for now. I really set my target on ( purple leaf)plum, what is its scientific name by the way?  i think i finaly found one that is cutable without helping the city gardeners :p now i was happy when i Saw the leaves but after inspecting the tree i didn't Saw a bow in it.

^^^ there you go! That’s one. I’m with yah man. I love purple leave. Super strong and elastic wood. I prefer it over Osage.

Im so sattifyd at the moment, i did an awesome find of what in pretty sure is purple leaf plum. It are 2 big Trees with multiple branches wich will make bow staves,Here are some pictures.. It was getting dark by the way. Tomorrow you Will see the pictures of the logos/staves

Yep that should be PLP. Color of the wood looks like the one I used too. Here it is called Blood Plum, the flowers are pink. I once found a seedling nearby, and planted it at my sisters. It blooms white and have bigger fruits. Do the seeds return to the original tree?

I found 1 or 2 seedlings too, going to dig Them out in the fall since that's better i heard. As for the fruits, i did Read that It depends on wich plum species are in the area since the fruit can hybrid (dont know how to explain It in good english)

No. Seed will vary. To get a duplicate of the original tree you have to use cuttings. Plum works pretty well for cuttings.

It took a bit longer to Harvest because the best Saw i have is the one in the picture
And the best tool to cleave is the one next to it. But im quite happy so far.
I only dont know if i should quarter Them or not. There are a few places where branches came out specially in one half.  Thinking about splitting that half Just next to the branches and then Saw the bad part in half to splice once i cut off the knot. How would you do It?
