Hello all, I have an ash log available for free to anyone who would want to pick it up in Minneapolis, MN. Several years ago I discovered the world of Primitive Archery and started doing research, picking up a few tools, etc., and even cut down my own small tree to get started! Unfortunately, life changed, we moved and I have had absolutely no time to pursue the hobby. When I cut down the tree I applied glue and tin foil to the ends of the log as I had read somewhere that was a good idea if you are not planning to immediately start working with the wood. It has been stored in its current condition for at least 4 years. Here are the specs on the log:
70" length
3.5" diameter on one end
6" diameter on the other end
