2019 trade bushboy bow
« on: November 08, 2019, 09:49:41 pm »
Received a bow from bushboy this week, from the 2019 PA bow trade. Its a great shooter. 57 lbs at 27", stiff handle 60" ntn. Limbs are about 2" out of the fades and have a slight taper to the outer fades.
Levered tips have some recurve to them and look to be about 5/16" at the nocks.  Bow is white elm but not sure what the overlay wood is. Can't say enough about this bow. Hope my pictures can do it justice. Thanks Bush!
Mike

Seeing this molle I get exited...It looks excellent, the profiles the narrow tips and the cranked handle.
Ver cool bow. What's the stain?
Cheers B2W

Thanks!first off, sorry I shipped a little late.gla,d you like it mike.i couldn't shoot it much because imade it at a remote work camp,so it may break in a bit more, although I did let it sweat at brace for many hours.the leather handle is moose from a friend and the tips are a mystery wood I got as a hobby block.the stain is different washes of peacock green rite dye and sealed with poly.i enjoy being part of the trade every year!looking forward to the next, cheers bush!

Nice! Bushy knows how to build a good one. Especially that style.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.
