Justin, ya I always try to do that if I have enough extra skin to do it. I think it makes it look sharp.
Eddie, eversince I split that stave out 2 or 3 years ago Ive been planning on using the knot for handle like that, /i like the way it turned out.
Dave, ya I hear ya. Its easy enough to find nice straight clean elm here though which I rate as good or bettter tha BL.
Redwasp, no handshock what so ever, I know its kinda long for a recurve but the static tips are so narrow that I don't think the they really add much if any mass.
