Sinew glue?
« on: July 21, 2019, 09:41:32 am »
So I’ve split out about 10 legs of elk tendon today and I have a lot of scrap from doing so. I was wondering what the complete process is for turning sinew scraps into the strong glue that everyone gets. I’m also in the process of building a horn bow so I’ll be needing some glue here soon

if you have it look in the TBB 1. good instructions. sinew glue isnt as strong as hide glue but it will do the job on your bow!

Sinew and hide glue are the same thing. If you need a lot of glue I would just use Knox gelatin, it is highly refined hide glue.
