Hey Everyone,
I would like to get some opinions to what size points you think are best for hunting. Hunting Whitetails, and Hogs. Size as far as Length, Width, also some favorite types that you think work best.
Thanks,
Steve

Paulc... Actually S.C. does not have any regulations on point size. I really just curious about what seems to work best for most People. Thanks for the reply
Aaron... I have just made 2 Obsidian points that are just about that size. how well do they penetrate at that size for you ? I know it has a lot to do with the pounds of the bow, I am shooting about 48 lbs. most of the time. Just wondering if I should go a little smaller... thanks
Bjrogg... I like that style point. Doesn't look like any unnecessary drag after the initial hole is made. Thanks.

I like a 2:1. Or a 3:1 7/8-1” wide. My average is about 75 grains

Looks like a pretty nice buck Tower. So far mine has just penetrated the dirt. I screwed up on a perfect shot from my tree stand my second season. Still need to work more on shooting from tree. 0 for 2 from tree. 2 for 2 from the ground. Both of those where steel broad heads though. Wasn't the arrows fault on either of the from tree strikes.
