Losing my touch

So I took a break recently from knapping and decided go do some stuff with bows. I only took a break for a week or two and now, I can’t get my work as thin as they used to. Any tips to recover?

try again tomorrow.
thick points flute pretty good but other than that you just gotta get more energy straight into the rock with enough abrading to make the edge strong enough to support all that energy. Flake spacing is important too. Spreading them out leaves bigger ridges to work with if there's still material to be removed.
