Is there an optimum size for loops? Is one of these to big/to small?

Long as they stay put, and the string doesnt wanna jump off, or slip to one side, you should be fine. Basically, if it works, its good

As long as the small loop fits over your nocks and the big loop can slide up and down the limb for stringing/unstringing you're good. I'd say what you have there looks good.
