Hannah has been using the Victorinox Ranger quite a bit. It will be handed off to Jim and Lynne in a few days.

Six "Official Users" plus one "Guest User" so far. The Victorinox Ranger has been used for at least 40 tasks so far and has held up very well. It is headed for Jim and Lynne next and then on to the final stretch with Mark, Joe and Eric. I have no concerns about four of those Users but Big Eric may just push the knife to it's limits! Anyways it has been fun (for me at least) seeing all the uses for the knife.
Have a great day!

The Victorinox was handed off to Jim and Lynne this weekend at a Selfbow Shoot. Here are a couple of pictures.

Here are some pictures from the current user of the knife.
Mark used the Victorinox to tune his banjo, work on a chainsaw, at our Archery Club's Steak Night and also to cut up some leeks.Mark will be sending it off to the next user Joe.

Pappy,
It's been fun (at least to me) watching that little knife being used for so many things. Just a few more users on the list and then a name will be drawn to keep the knife. A couple of the Guys and Girls on the list of users have requested to borrow it from the final Winner to take with them on some special trips. Mark asked to take it on his hike of part of the Appalachian Trail in Maine and Vermont, Hannah asked to take it on a trip to visit England (where she is from) and Eric asked to take it on Scout Camp Trip this Summer. Who knows maybe the Red Ranger knife will just keep traveling and getting passed around.
take care,
brian

AAHHH!  Wonderful! - the Saga of the Wandering Swiss continues!  I often wonder why I never got me one of those!  Or got one as a gift!  Great tale!

A couple of pictures from Joe at his hunting camp. Joe will be passing off the Victorinox to Eric next. After Eric, Sue gets it and then a Winner will be picked.
