Glue for horn?
« on: December 28, 2018, 09:59:04 pm »
What kind of glue can I use to keep horn inserts from popping out? I remove the clamp and the horn literally falls out. I was using Titebond 3

I've used TBIII and wrapped with rubber band until the glue cures...tomorrow.

I use cyanoacrylate (superglue). Not authentically primitive, but it bonds in seconds and they never fall out.

1.) I scuff it up with 120 grit sandpaper . . .

2.) I wipe it off with Methananol . . .

4.) I use hide glue or Devcon 5 minute epoxy . . .
