Thats a good idea,I have heard of that before but never tried it,the next one I do I will try that.
This one turned out pretty close but it took a while and several coats of stain on the light one. :)

The limbs did turn out to be a nice color match in the end though. I'm going to have to try a takedown using some of those billets we have. Do you think Lone Wolf will have the sleeves at the Classic for a takedown? We might should give them a ring and ask them to try and have some on hand. :)

I will call Joe and see,he didn't have any when I got these,I got them from 3 rivers.I think Sinpsey river has them and they will be there. :)

Check with Mike Yancey at Pine Hollow, he has them and also carries a narrow set that doen't feel so bulky in the hand.  If you like a bigger handle you can glue on leather on the smaller set, soak it with CA glue, then file and shape to fit your prefered grip.  His price with shipping is less then Rivers too.

I'll do that.I had heard he had them just haven't checked.Thanks.This one is not to big,but maybe a little bigger than I like,I have a small hand and like a small grip also. :)

This  post is so cool on many different levels!    great job!!   it  could  all most  be  another way  for us  that can't get Osage,,  is to  trade  for  broken bows ::) nice  job  Pappy!!  hey  any one  have  any  broken  Osage bows ;D   Jeff W,,,,,,,,,,,,,no  really anyone???
