That looks amazing so far. You are certainly a man of many talents!

Thanks guys. I did some more filling in and shaping up the bodies to give them motion and a bit more realism. I still have to add the hair and manes and tails then comes the initial painting. Things will jump then.

Do you do all the shaping while it's wet or do you use a rasp or something when it dries? It's looking way cool!!

DC, on the base forms(styrofoam) I shape it with a serrated knife or sand paper. Once I have that basic shape I shape the tissue wet with watered down white glue like modeling clay then cover that with tissue paper to smooth it out. Sometimes I have to go back and shave off an area that doesn't look right, a hump, etc. then lay more tissue paper over that.
The bow is a piece of osage I chased a ring on(wish it was all that easy  ;D ) then thinned it down to that one ring, carved the back profile then with a candle I heated it to give it the bends in the right places. I'm going to sinew back the bow. The arrow on the bow now is a tooth pick but I will make arrows for it.

It won't be much sinew, that's for sure.
 Thanks Jerry.

Got a bit more done before the painting begins. There is still a lot more detail work to be done but the initial painting really helps me see what else is needed. These are the last pics before the painting begins...

here are a few close ups. The last pic I have painted part of the bison which adds to the detail. This is only the beginning of the painting and detail work...
