Dave Kissinger's bows
« on: June 29, 2018, 11:08:16 am »
Anyone have any links to Dave Kissinger's bows, I'd really like to check them out, he appears to have been a fine bowyer

Bubby, I haven't seen anything of Dave Kissinger for years now. I believe he used to contribute to PA Magazine. Have you tried to Google him?

Yes Pat I did, all I get is krackow archery and D M Kissinger, I'm not sure if that's him. I've seen the two bows he has in the Bible and they got my interest piqued

Dave kind of fell off the map years ago. He was a very talented bowyer. I attended a bow making seminar he put on in the early 90's. Last I know of he was living in NE Pa but that was in early 2000's.

I don't think you need to look any further than the current posters here on PA to see the most awesome wood bows ever made. They are making them better now than at any other time in my lifetime.

Steve I understand that , but Dave Kissinger had a great style and as wood bow builders haven't we all looked to the past for inspiration?
