I've noticed a few vids about shooting Ishi style, read what I can find. I gather it was how his people had been making them for at least a few generations. Ya I'm pretty motivated to experience making one and hunting with it. But I'm also greatly enthused about the whole body of primitive archery

45 inches is ok for sinew bow,, could be considered full length,, a 22 inch draw can shoot with decent cast and accuracy,,
and fun to shoot as well,,

That's ok. I'm still figuring out my bowyer bench design. The vise is unsatisfying.

I’ll send you the link to how I learned to do it years ago. Just remember to triple check your limb alignment. And once you think it’s perfect, check again.
