For arrows, does it matter if they are long, say 7”?  If they shoot good?
Also, would you recommend filing the point round some. Would you use flu flu feathers?

Cutty, I think it may have been mentioned earlier in this thread, but to reiterate I would suggest making the arrows only as long as the bow's intended draw length. Kids often tend to draw a bow as far as they can or as far as the arrow allows, so make 'em only just long enough.
