My big plan to wait till after the knap in didn't work as well as I thought it would.

Also,
I wrote a note describing the materials and forgot to put it in the box
The base notch point is made of Knife River and the hook is made of Paute agate

I received my point from Knapping Cowboy yesterday and also 3 nice spalls of materials that I have worked very little of, I am going to guess at material type . Agate, Alaibates , and an unknown, KC the point is very well made and I'm guessing Agate. Thanks Bob

@outbackbob i really couldn't tell ya what the material of those spalls are. Haha it just come from rock i stumble upon, enjoy!

@parnell, can't thank you enough for the opportunity to trade points and material with the PA community, you rock! And that preform was one of many casualties of pith 2018.

Yesterday I got a nice obsidian side notch point from Trapper Rob. The photo does not do it justice. I still have not found a way to take photos that show the flake scars without exaggerating them. The point is nice and "smooth" with pretty flaking.

I don’t know why I’ve been having such a hard time getting photos to work lately, think it’s my internet, but I got a great box of points from knappin cowboy! The bigger one is definitely going on display! Nice and thin, straight, and a great design. Thank you
