American flag point
« on: March 02, 2018, 05:35:29 pm »
Mike Cook who IMHO is one of the best flint knappers around, knapped an arrowhead point that resembles the American flag. Mike knows about my Marine buddy who was shot in Viet Nam which left him right side paralyzed. After learning that my wife and I were going to visit my buddy Bob, Mike sent me the flag point to give to Bob as a gift.  The smile on Bob's face says it all.

A generous gift that put a smile on this Marines face.

Excellent gift for a true America patriot. Thank you sir for your service to our country and for us to enjoy our freedoms. God bless you.
FLINTKNAPPING IS EASY...I WAS ALWAYS TOLD I COULD BREAK AN ANVIL WITH A POWDER PUFF.

That deserves a huge SEMPER FI!  And a salute to Mike for a fine thought, and to all the men and women who served in country, and out of theater..  Thanks to all for your service, regardless of branch or station.

Good deeds. It's always good to see good things done.
