Andy I sure hope she is ok.  Good luck with your car search.  I like looking at them but hate talking to the salesmen.
I found my truck online spent just a couple of hours at the dealership.

Bj, that's a bad a$$ looking derby car! That dude looks like it will fly! Good job to the both of you!
Just to be safe the a file and some superglue and a little lead when you go to the race.  You never know exactly what their scale might say.  Good luck! Make sure and let us know how it goes.

Your killing me!

I'm not sure exactly when I'll get there but shooting for Friday mid day.

Well, technically, noon is mid-day...  ;)
I might be there by 3 or 4, depends when I can get out and past KC.

I know that Jon, Ed, Eric, and Neal arrived home safely.
Was soooo good to see ya'll.

Mike...I had a couple things to keep me awake driving back home.A deer very close with a death wish and I stopped once to stretch and had a conversation with a patrolman.
Good to see everyone else too even though everyone was glad to see me go.....lol.Good thing about this trip was no worries about food/no worries about sleeping quarters/no worries about tools and working quarters/no worries about targets to shoot at.All that was left was the weather cooperating and that fell into place too.

Glad you guys all had a safe trip and a good time. Hope it was a friendly conversation with the trooper Ed. I'm hoping it works out for me to attend this event next year.

The pinewood derby was a lot of fun. Charley did pretty good. They raced each car 8 times. He came in first or second every time except one that for some reason he came in fourth. That one really hurt him but we had lots of fun. He was fourth place over all.  He got award for best paint job. He also got award for fastest car in his den. After the race the scout leader asked me to show the scouts my bows and arrows. The kids were very interested and listened to every word I said. It was a very good time. As much as I wanted to see all you guys I'm glad I stayed here with my grandson.

Maybe next year. There's a lot of guys there I'd like to meet.
