Buttermilk pie is kind of a Texas/Southern thing. My wife got the recipe from our Pastor's wife when we were in Tulsa.  :D
Food, drink and camaraderie is one of the things that makes these bowmaking gatherings so much a fun.  -C-
Some of the folks even get a bow or two built...   :BB

Yes, Patrick, I’ll have my smoker there all week.
We may need ice on Tuesday this year, with everyone that says they are gonna be there by then!

That might not be a bad idea for some to take a dip in the river David.I figure to be kinda busy.I've subdued any more notions to build another bow here before Mo Jam.Am ready with what's needed for the broadhead flight shoot. At least my share of it anyway.
I've heard the others are too so we'll see you all there.

Ed I have subdued myself as well. Only finished five bows this month and have 13 roughed out. Hopefully I can get back into the swing of things  :BB

That's quite a few bows in my book.Don't think anyone can swing faster than that.Hate to see when your not subdued making bows. That's over 1 bow a week.
Did you get your arrows made?
