Bamboo Backed Osage
« on: December 14, 2017, 12:42:25 pm »
Here's another one, Like the title says, One of James Parker's Glue ups he was selling at the Classic in May. This is the longbow version, like I need another one. I just did the final tillering and shot about 50 arrows through it and it is pretty zippy. This bow is 64" N to N, 55# at 29". I made it almost a pure center Shot bow and wrapped the handle with hemp, really like the stuff for hunting.

James does a nice airbrush job on the Boo and that's what caught my eye and had to have it. And I love this kind of design. Easy to string and smooth to shoot. Also very quiet. Finished the tips off with some iridescent ebony I had.

Thank you, Ed. James makes it easier.

Rob, Pat's old and been growing his since the 70's. I've shaved mine twice since the Classic in May. ::)

The profiles look really nice. I bet it's zippy indeed!
