A little beadwork
« on: August 10, 2017, 09:58:07 am »
Sometimes I just can't resist the urge to embellish something.  It was pretty fun, but the brim was challenging.  I used to do a lot more beadwork, it was nice to go back to it for a little bit.

Cool, nice touch!  I noticed though, that the tiny hole in the beads has gotten much smaller since my last project! >:D.

Thanks guys.  Yes, Hawkdancer, the holes are smaller.  I have been doing quite a bit with 10/o's, and switched back to 11's for this project.  Wow, those beads are little.

Don't lay it on a table and leave unattended . . . . . .
... alone in distant woods or fields, in unpretending sproutlands or pastures tracked by rabbits, even in a bleak and, to most, cheerless day .... .  I suppose that this value, in my case, is equivalent to what others get by churchgoing & prayer.  Hank Thoreau, 1857

Nifty!  And yeah, the brim looks like it would be challenging.
