This bow is not backed! So chasing a ring is essential - and yes I did.
Now it is no difference to a selfbow from a stave or sapling. I should have mentioned that, sorry!

I have bought some BL boards from a cabinet maker, he used them for making stairs and had some leftovers. I could buy for cheap.

That's one we will see in the PA mag. Great job as always!!

I thought it looked like you chased a ring Simson. I'm not sure what's happening with BOM. I entered "this isn't big Al" months ago haven't seen anything except a email that only 2 bows entered wanting more bows. Please enter this one it deserves it.

I was thinking the same thing. Doesn't look like any board I've ever seen.
