Weylin,, I saw the braced profile,, you are right that was challenging,, I think you did the right thing letting the full draw profile dictate the shape of the bow,,the braced profile is not representing how the limbs are are bending,,,keeping the taper even at full draw is key,, I wish I could shoot that one,, I have a vine maple stave and you are inspiring me to give it a try,, (SH)

Wow again! Said it on your FB page already but it looks absolutely stunning! Would definately hang it on my wall! I hope you can get your uncle to shoot is every now and then.

Thank you, everyone. I never know what people are going to say when I post a bow with a funky tiller.  It's hard to capture with pictures. I will definitely try to get my uncle to put some arrows through it some time.

You said you did quite a bit of heat treatment. Some staves even after heat treatment, or steam want to walk back (out of your desired alignment) or move back to their original position.
