Hi all,
I finished this one about a month ago and have been shooting it quite a bit.
Seems solid and fairly fast. The string give a nice tong sound, not much "twang" or hand shock.
I used a cut off piece from one end & glued it on for added handle meat and left the sap wood on. I shaped it to fit the palm of my hand and it lays right on the life line. Tip overlays are calf hooves for the dog chew bins. They have a somewhat clear look kind of like finger nail. The stave was an old piece and had a dark purple look.
It was deflex a touch in the middle so I tried adding some reflex mid limb and outwards. I lost just about everything I added while tillering but I decided I like it as it turned out. After shooting the profile stays pretty close to where it is before shooting.
