NE Ga finds

So a neighbor learned last week I am trying to figure out flint knapping so he brought these by yesterday.  Says they were found in Talulla Gorge area...Pretty neat stuff.

Those look like they were made by modern people, no patenas, but cant tell for sure looking at a pic.  The first one looks like a cheep souvenir point.  JMHO

Just to make sure Im not saying they arnt real points.  Just my first impressions. I dont live in Georga and dont know their points that well.   Either way thanks for posting and let us know how to help you Knapp.

I'm not a knapper but those look awful clean compared to the one I just found in the creek Sunday. 
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

I've never seen that style in Ga.

My first thought was NE India. A friend that lives in NE Ga. brought me some small points he bought and they were made in India.

We camped near Talulla Gorge a couple years ago. There is an antique/junk shop off the highway heading south just past the gorge that was selling points similar to these. He also had many rock, gem and minerals for sale - some foreign and some from the USA. Rick B
