Photobucket
« on: March 04, 2017, 11:46:45 am »
Hey guys I just can't figure out how to use it. Haha I don't have an iPhone so the thread about that doesn't help. I have a Samsung something or other. I'm technology illiterate, no matter how much I try I just can't do it. In the past I have just resized pics but they are such a terrible quality by then. I just want to post some more. It shouldn't be hard to do. Thanks- Brendan

Photobucket is a pain in the butt.  It does work though.  I have a samsung phone and I have the photobucket app on it.  It's pretty simple to upload pictures.  After I upload them I use a computer to copy the image links onto PA.  You can copy the links on the phone app but it takes a little more effort.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Hey Brendan--I have an old 4.1 megapixel camera that I use just for PA. I have it set at 480x640 so I don't have to resize. I just use the site photo posting stuff. I've seen old cameras like this for $5 at thrift shops.

Ok here goes , this is all from a android phone. Once you install the photobucket app, open the app, see the uper left corner in first pic click on upload and it opens the gallery on your phone, then select the pics you want to upload, then click the upload button and it will say upload to and it will have a check mark, if that is the file you want it in click the arrow in upper rt of page. Now to post to PA, open the app and swipe from the left and all the library's where your pics are at on the app show up, click on the appropriate library there are 2 symbals upper rt of page click on the one that looks like 2 lines connected by 3 dots and it will open a box that says share album ans select photos to share click on that, then click the pics you want to post, now at thw top there is a symbal that looks like a chain, click that and a box opens upthat says copy to clip board, click on the bottom box marked imgthen click done. Now ya go to the forum and where you want to post the pics press in the text box, the keyboard needs to be showing and then it will say paste click that and the pics are posted

Boy, if I had to use photobucket that way I think I would give up.  It is quite easy with a PC, just open the folder you want then drag and drop the images from your PC

It isn't that bad my discription is downloading them to photo bucket and then getting them linked. If your pics are on there it is just 5 easy steps, all from my phone
