Bamboo backed osage d/r
« on: February 14, 2017, 05:49:19 am »
Here's a BBO I just finished up. I don't usually post my bows but I asked a lot of questions about this one and you guys were a lot of help. It also turned out nicer than most of my boss. It is 64" ntn and 48#@28". I did a little wood burningbelow the handle and finished it with wipe on satin poly. No stain.  It holds about 3/4" of reflex after being unbiased for a bit. Really a smooth shooting bow. I know the tiller isn't perfect but it has a few hundred shots through it and send to be doing fine and I don't want to lose more weight.

Thank you! He is a busy guy! It was everything I could do to get a few pictures without him taking off with my bow😀

Beautiful work. That kid looks like a potential bowyer to me. See the way he's eyeing that bow?  ;D ;D
