Growth ring on belly of bow.

One of the growth rings on the belly of my Osage bow looks like it is pealing up. About 4in down from center of bow, on bottom limb. Is this safe? Any way to fix it

If the early ring is failing and delaminating it's not good. If it just somehow lifted the feathered edge I'd just saturate it with super glue and sand it smooth.
 If you just bought the bow, let the builder handle it.

That looks a lot more like a lam or patch, not a growth ring. Is it truly mid limb?

I dont know what the deal was, if you got a discounted bow, or if he told ypu it was repaired or not, but that is not looking safe. Got a full pic of the belly area on it?

Upon closer examination it looks to be a patch. Bad vision sucks, maybe glasses will help!   ;D
Don't know if I should sent it back? No mention of patch when I bought it. Thank for all the help even with my half blindself providing info.
