Looks like a fine time was had by all in spite of the lack of a proper wheel grill ;D.  Hot down here too.  We have had no rain since September 16 at my place.  Man, oh man!  Having shared a campfire with most of these guys, I can only imagine that y'all had a great week.  Great pictures.  Me and Tommy and our crew have been slapping at mosquitoes and trying to fool a deer since October 15 so I haven't been on here too much.  This post sure made me smile.

Sure looks like a great time, especially with this group of guys.  Great pictures, thanks for sharing fellas.

Btw, I dig the plaid and the wool hat Greg. I have been wearing a lot more plaid going out to the woods, kind of a nod to the elders that went before us.  Good times

What the heck is a proper wheel grill?

Its an old car rim with a grate on top fellas. Even this yankee knows that!

Some of the best meals I've ever ate have been cooked over a semi truck rim.

I gotta add a big +1 on that plaid wool coat.  You just need the boots that lace to the knees, suspenders, and a flat brimmed campaign hat to look like you stepped off a Remington-Peters Ammunition Calender dated 1928!
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

Thanks Guys for the nice comments on the camp, but you know it takes people to make it......yeah it's great to slip out and be there for a few days by yourself, but being able to share it with others that have the same interest as you do is the icing on the cake....

I'm with ya JW, after all of the plaid those two guys were wearing,  I'm throwing away my old faded camo and replacing it with plaid....
