Hickory ELB
« on: September 23, 2016, 02:15:27 am »
Good day fellow Bowyeurs,

I am from South Africa and this is my first post. I have made a couple of bows, mostly for myself and friends. This build was my first ELB.

The bow is Hickory backed with multi-directional fiber glass strips and epoxy. The nocks are from a Blackwilbebees' horns that I hunted in June this year on a farm in Bethulie in the Southern Free State near the Eastern Cape. The bow is 76'' ntn, #70@28".

Nice build mate.

Good job. I like those horn tips. What type of roof is on your home? Looks like it's made of concrete.

That's a nice bend in that beauty. I bet it doesn't feel like #70 at that length.

Thanks. The roof is made out of clay and cement tiles;)
