Drop Point Hunting Knife (Pic Heavy)
« on: September 18, 2016, 09:30:15 pm »
I decided to try my hand at knife making after seeing a few instructional videos on youtube. This is made from 440C stainless steel, Osage handle scales, and corby fasteners. The sheath was just veg tan leather. Definitely happy with the outcome, despite some little imperfections. Hope to make more in the near future. Hope everyone enjoys. :)

That's a fine looking knife and sheath. I like how you book matched the end grain on the scales. Nice touch.

If it were mine, I'd just carry it around 24/7 , it's so simple and classic. Outstanding.

Thanks, everyone. :)

Knotty - That's what I've been doing, Lol. I find myself liking simpler and more elegant designs as I grow older.
